Life is full of Uncertainty The blackness is overwhelming as you search frantically around. Objects that seemed once so familiar are now foreign to your touch. Sometimes life seems exactly like that brief anxious description above. We fumble through life without a clue as to where we are going. At the first sight of anything, we jump on board without seeing if it will help. Have you ever seen something from a distance that looked familiar until you got there and found out how lost you really are? Also a good read: Your Search for Truth Life is full of uncertainty… when we let it be. God created us. So why do we assume God wants us to be sad, depressed, overwhelmed and burdened beyond our ability? “…And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.” – 1 Corinthians 10:13. God gives us a way out. I can use an overwhelming amount of scripture to help you see that God cares deeply about you. God loves you and wants the best for you. There are many bible verses that support this understanding. But right now we will focus on more. God wants more than to just make you feel good. God wants a relationship with us. Feeling good is the natural consequence to listening and doing for God, not the focus. To read more about relationships also check out this article: Jesus Knows, Do You?
We no longer need to wander aimlessly through the dark, touching who knows what and hoping it won’t hurt us. We seek out Jesus and He will be our light. Jesus is the Light Trust in God and seek out his kingdom because Jesus is our light to guide us through this unfocused and blind life. “In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.” That is the book of John chapter 1, verses 4 and 5. I encourage you to reach out through our email on our website. We want to share Jesus light with you and help you seek out Jesus because Jesus has trusted his truthful followers with His light. “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” – Matthew chapter 5, verses 14 and 15 Also check out: How do I Become a Christian? God also has a plan for the other side of the uncertainty, we may not see it. Getting connected to him can give us purpose and clarity.
