WHAT WE BELIEVE
We pray that we can live each day following the Great Commandments
"Love God and Love others" (Matthew 22:27-40)
We desire to worship God in spirit and truth.
We make every effort to put our belief into practice by reaching out to help others in our daily lives.
We believe in learning and living the Truth that is revealed by God, using the Bible as our guide.
We believe that Jesus is the Way, and the Truth, and the Life and no one comes to the Father except through Him.
The central message of the Bible is the Good News that Jesus the Christ is the risen Lord & Saviour for all who believe in Him and obey His commandments (cf. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 15-19, Acts 1:1-11; John 14:1-4,15; Isaiah 1)
Certain core beliefs (understandings of scripture) are foundational to "living by faith"
(cf. Hebrews 11:6. Genesis 1:1; John 1:1; 1 Corinthians 13:13: Matthew 22:37-40; John 3:16),
However, we find it impractical to develop any creed book or catechism to describe what Jesus expects of His disciples.
We encourage believers to increasingly grow in knowledge and in practice of God's Truth through Bible study and prayerful discernment of the leading of the Spirit.

A CHURCH OF CHRIST
We trust that God has added us to His church (cf. Acts 2:47) because of our faith in Jesus and obedience to His commands.
We are a group of Christians who desire to follow and serve Jesus by showing His Love in everything we say and do.
Since Christ is the Head of His church and has all authority in heaven and on earth, we believe each church group is directly accountable to Jesus for their beliefs and practices. (cf. Ephesians 1:21-23, Colossians 1:18)
This means we function independently of any other church group or organizations (We consider ourselves to be non-denominational)
In our conversations with other Christians, we strive to show the unity that God gave to believers through Jesus as stated in Ephesians 4:1-6
"I ... urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you also were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.
We refer to ourselves as a "church of Christ" because of informal connection with other churches of Christ who have similar understanding of the beliefs and practices Jesus desires from His church.
